About Us
Following the identification of a gap within the funeral industry, the official opening of Pacific Rim Funeral Care took place on 5 September 2003.
On the fifth anniversary, 5 September 2008, the funeral home was re-branded to Capital City Funeral Services incorporating Pacific Rim Funeral Care, as part of the business development and growth strategy. This allowed the funeral home to better represent the diversity of families who engaged its services, within the local area and from the greater Wellington region.
In 2008 the funeral home was also relocated to new and larger premises at 10 Norrie Street, Porirua (across from Pataka Museum).
